At FBC Springville, we believe that serving is a vital part of our calling as followers of Christ. God has uniquely gifted each one of us with talents, abilities, and passions that can be used to glorify Him and build up the body of Christ. As 1 Peter 4:10 says, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." Serving allows us to grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and actively participate in the mission of the church. Whether it’s behind the scenes or on the front lines, every role is an essential part of the ministry.
Jesus modeled a servant's heart when He said, "The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many" (Matthew 20:28). Following His example, we are called to serve one another humbly and selflessly. Volunteering is not just about filling a need—it’s about partnering with God to impact lives and advance His Kingdom. Through serving, we reflect Christ's love, grow in our faith, and fulfill the Great Commission by being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community.
We encourage everyone, from new attendees to long-time members, to explore the many opportunities to serve at FBC Springville. Whether you have a heart for teaching, organizing, or simply offering a helping hand, there’s a place for you to make a difference. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters” (Colossians 3:23). Together, we can create a thriving church family that reflects God’s love, strengthens the faith of others, and reaches those in need. Join us as we serve God and each other with joy and purpose!
