Baptist Men
 Our men are a group of men with a heart for ministry in our community. We
periodically have a Men’s Breakfast for both fellowship and
spiritual growth, with a special speaker, such as a Christian athlete,
sharing at each breakfast.
We will have our 3rd Annual Wildgame Dinner in March of 2006, with
many varieties of wild game to sample, a large variety of animals to see
and learn about, and a special guest to provide nourishment for our souls.
Previous guests have been Kevin Derryberry, and Karen Peck and New River.
A new ministry for our Baptist Men this year is our Food Program
for children at Blaine Elementary School in Kentucky. We are providing
backpacks with food for some 100 children to take home each weekend,
children who would not otherwise have food to eat until they returned to
school on Mondays.
 Our goal in all these activities is to reach people in our community and
elsewhere who have physical needs, who are unchurched, or who do not know
Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord. In doing this, we can also have
fun and fellowship as we serve our Lord together in these ways. |
