Discipleship
 First Baptist Church offers small group discipleship studies in all areas
of the Christian life. These are designed to help Christians develop and
grow in their personal walk with Jesus Christ, and to learn how to handle
the problems, cares, decisions, and experiences of everyday life.
Studies are generally held on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 or Sundays at 4:30,
with occasional studies held during a weekday.
Some studies previously held include many of the Beth Moore women’s studies:
e.g., Believing God, Jesus the One and Only; Experiencing God;
Who We Are in
Christ; Men Leading the Charge; Bible Survey; The Purpose Driven Life.
In the fall of 2005, we will be studying Beth Moore’s The Patriarchs led by
Laura Bentley, and Adrian Rogers' Kingdom Authority led by Mark Martin. |
